Mission Statement - WHAWF
The Foundation is organized, and shall be operated, for the following
exclusively animal welfare related purposes:
(1) To establish an animal rescue organization serving West
Hunterdon and surrounding areas;
(2) To provide facilities and guidance to those who require
animal rescue assistance;
(3) To develop new resources for conducting animal rescue;
(4) To encourage and educate the public in proper and humane
animal care;
(5) To adopt a policy of a no kill animal shelter whenever
possible;
(6) To provide assistance in adoption and placement of animals
in suitable settings;
(7) To work with the proper authorities of violations of NJ State
Statute Title 4 – Agricultural and Domestic Animals.
